Ansonsten Top. Positive: Schöne Zimmer, super Service, sehr nettes Personal. Mitten im „Regenwald“ Negative: Schimmel an der Decke. Der Schimmel war ein großes Problem-die gesamte Villa und die Kleidung hat mit der Zeit stark gestunken. Der Besitzer hat nach kurzer Rücksprache die Decke streichen lassen. Dies behebt das Problem natürlich in keiner Weise.

Positive: Die Villa Mapache war ausreichend groß mit reichlichen Ablageflächen. Besonders gut hat uns auch die große Dusche mit 2 separaten Duschköpfen gefallen. Es gibt eine Mikrowelle und eine Filterkaffeemaschine im Zimmer. Gastgeber Humberto hat uns geholfen einen Scooter zu mieten, der komfortabel zur Unterkunft gebracht wurde. Wie in vielen anderen Bewertungen auch zu lesen ist, braucht man hier zwingend einen fahrbaren Untersatz bei einem längeren Aufenthalt. Die Straße ist (bis auf die letzten 100m) sehr gut befestigt und entsprechend alles sehr gut erreichbar. Negative: Feuchtigkeit - es ist schwierig Sachen trocken zu kriegen. Auch auf den Vorhängen und anderen Textilien im Zimmer hinterlässt die Feuchtigkeit Spuren.

Il bagno era bello ma aveva una piscina interna non riscaldata quindi a dicembre farsi il bagno era impensabile .

We loved our stay and highly suggest this relaxing stay for others! Positive: The property is absolutely gorgeous! The staff make everything convenient and provide all requests promptly. We stayed in the Mapache villa and having the indoor pool was nice to come back to after a day out in the sun. Breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh, we stayed long enough to try each menu item, and chefs kiss to each one! They really have everything you need here if you're looking for a relaxing stay. Negative: The villas are about a 15 min drive from centro San Miguel. It doesn't seem far, but it is. Taxis were reluctant to bring as back during certain busy times. Keyla was fast to respond and provide driving services to town from the villas for a fair price, and when she wasn't available she made taxi arrangements. If you are confident driving around Cozumel definitely rent a vehicle which you can arrange through the villa. Last, being in the jungle you have to expect wildlife which comes with positive and negative aspects. There were ants in the bathroom and pool areas and if you keep all your food outside they will stay secluded to those areas for the most part. We did not complain as it was not a big deal, and understood it comes with the environment, just be sure to keep clean and properly store food stuffs.
